Women Only

Join us, as our health and wellness experts as we spend 5 days to REBOOT, REFOCUS and REKINDLE your energy. We have combined physical movement (Hiking in the redwoods, the best Road Cycling in the world *Plus you can rent E-Bikes now), with inward movement, (Yoga, Art, and Meditation) plus afternoon wine tasting and inspirational lectures.

All levels are welcome. Whether you’re an accomplished cyclist, or haven’t been on your bike in a while, our guides tailor the rides to ensure you’re pedaling beside kindred spirits on matched terrain. (We also have electric bikes which make it really fun!!)

What to expect

Our hike will take us to the Majestic Armstrong Redwood forest where we will be transformed by the magnificence of nature. We will hike beneath this redwood forest’s soaring canopy and be humbled by trees that have lived more than a thousand years. These magnificent gifts of nature will give us a chance to reflect and slow down. When you leave a redwood forest, the world is never quite the same, at least for a little while.

We’ll also partake in daily yoga, meditation, journaling, massage, and creative activities like our Heart’s Desire process, to get you connected with your highest potential. This retreat is as much an adventure for your body as it is your soul, and both will be at their best during our 5 inspired days together. Join us on this well-deserved reward for your senses and we’ll send you home revitalized, with a new zest for life.

We always start the day with yoga, followed by 2 to 3 hours of FUN aerobic exercise. The afternoons are for relaxing, yoga, inspiring talks and Wine Tasting!

We begin each adventure-filled day with Colleen’s unique “Awakening the Senses Yoga.” This gentle but powerful practice draws inspiration from Gyrokinesis, Qigong, and Tai Chi, and is a perfect way to prepare the mind, body and senses for the activities of the day. Afternoons we have the amazing Gretchen Spiro as our yoga staff for an all levels yoga, dance movement class to open and restore the body.

The riding is some of the best in the US. The Sonoma wine country is absolutely beautiful and we ride through the heart of it all. We’ll ride by manicured vineyards, along well-shaded quiet county lanes, over tree-covered knolls and along the historic Russian river.

In a word, amazing. We will do a glorious hike in the Armstrong Woods State Natural Reserve. The Reserve is home to a spectacular grove of Coast Redwoods. We’ll get up close with these natural wonders, including both the Parson Jones Tree which is the tallest tree in the grove, measuring more than 310 feet in height and the Colonel Armstrong Tree which is the oldest tree in the grove, estimated to be over 1,400 years old.

The trails in the Reserve are not overly technical so you should be fine with light-weight hiking or trail running shoes. Walking among these giants is a special treat and one that will stay with you long after the camp is over.

We will also hike at Sonoma Lake  and hike around the Bishops Ranch which has miles of trails right out our door.
