On this bike tour, we take you on Sicily's less-known routes, combined with some iconic climbs that have been included several times in the program of the Giro. The tour includes two locations: the North East corner of the island in combination with the area of Etna volcano.

The delightful cuisine is given along the trip to refill our energy with tasty local fresh food and recipes of the tradition of the grandmas, while the variety of the landscape will enchant you because of the blue of the sea, on the first part of the trip, and the black of the lava in its second section. If you want one word to define this tour, it may be energy. The energy from the sea hangs over you in almost every single kilometer of every pedal stroke in the first part of the journey and the energy of the volcano in the second part of the tour.

The sky's light continuously changes the sea color and creates a new landscape every day; on the other hand, you will experiment with a different landscape when
you move to the second part of the trip just by looking at the big shape of Etna dominating the surrounding area. The locals call it "A Muntagna" (The Mountain).
Interestingly, they call it feminine because of the capability of the volcano to give life thanks to the minerals of its lava.

We'll ride beautiful silent roads with old ruins on the way; their dilapidated conditions tell us about the times and lives that worked and inhabited the area while the only sounds are the birds, our breaths, and the wheels of our bikes. Each ride offers delightful and fresh granita to taste at local bars; our favorites are pistachio or coffee, with the local sweet cream and warm brioche. Which is your preference?

About
About The Host

We believe that cycling has several interpretations, everyone has his/her way of riding. Every bike ride is a story; every climb has something to say to you. Cycling during a climb makes you feel pain and at the same time, it makes you stronger and allows you a better knowledge of your soul.  It is not a matter of how fast you are to get to the peak or if you’ll be the first or the last one in the group. It’s the climb itself; it’s like going into a sort of mystic dimension where you are with and inside yourself.
