We facilitate the process of this cleanse by offering a calm environment surrounded by nature and by taking care of you throughout the process by bringing a hot lemon water tea to your balcony every morning, ensuring that you take your supplements, that your diet is adequate throughout the process, that you don’t drink anything cold, that you move your body through yoga practice, swimming, walking, and so on.

This cleanse is a simple and safe technique based on the consumption of fresh fruit extracts, superfoods, and a healthy balanced vegan and gluten-free diet to help eliminate toxins accumulated in the body due to dietary and environmental factors.

The focus of this detox is on cleansing the liver, the workhorse of the body. With the exception of the skin, the liver is the largest organ in the body and performs over 500 functions, far more than any other organ in the body. It is a vital organ that supports nearly every organ in the body in some facet. It is only the liver that can purify the bloodstream, and you only have one liver so come take care of your liver and yourself!

Your stay includes delicious healthy and balanced meals with no animal products, no fried food, no processed sugar, and no wheat. Johanne will prepare fresh fruit extracts that are used in this purification process as well as homemade fermented food and drinks to help with digestion.

It takes a full 6 days to prepare the body for the liver flush by eating a diet high in alkaline-forming foods and low in fats to take the toxic pressure off your organs for the liver flush which is done on day 8 in the morning. Afterward, you'll have free time to integrate all your experiences, relax, and prepare for your journey home!  

You will enjoy the Reiki session, plant baths, massage, yoga, and meditation sessions and have plenty of quality time resting in your hammock or at the dock of the secluded lagoon, taking nature walks, ...  Being surrounded by lush green vegetation, and getting in tune with the sounds of nature will further help the cleansing and relaxation process. 

​The yoga program for the detox retreat includes 4 gentle yoga classes including restorative yoga and yoga Nidra. A low-intensity practice to relax and create space in the body offers the right intensity when doing a detox treatment. The yoga classes include guided meditations and pranayama (breathing) exercises to help you feel better, more centered, and connected to the earth.

​The yoga classes, gorgeous yoga space which looks out on the surrounding natural beauty. The soundscape (the natural chorus of wind, birds, monkeys, insects, etc.) will transport you to a place of natural serenity deep within yourself during your practice; especially in Savasana, the final relaxation pose.

​The daily Cellercise routine will help the body flush toxins by activating the lymphatic system.
