Michelle

Michelle has immersed herself in the teachings and practices of yoga for more than two decades. During her time living in Costa Rica, yoga evolved from a mat-based practice into a philosophy that interwove with every aspect of her life.

Yoga's endless limbs, with their capacity for growth and transformation, have supported Michelle through many life transitions. She enjoys exploring the things that make her breathe more fully into each moment and is passionate about sharing the expansive, grounding, and transformative practice of yoga with others.

With over 500 hours of training from a diverse array of teachers, including Mark Stephens, Janet Stone, Sarah Powers, Eoin Finn, Noah Levine, and Nancy Goodfellow, Michelle has spent more than a decade teaching vinyasa flow, yin, restorative, meditation, pranayama, and philosophy.

Michelle draws inspiration from studying yogic texts, her practice, and everyday moments that remind her to slow down and be present. Her classes offer clear cues with strong alignment, exploration of movement and stillness, mindful breathing, steadfast presence, a touch of humor, and a deep sense of gratitude. Michelle’s classes are designed to be accessible to students of all levels.
