5 Days, Multiple Departures
Isla Blanca is a popular destination for kiteboarding, particularly during north winds, when local riders from across the Riviera Maya gather to take advantage of its ideal off-shore conditions. The beach features a grassy area for kite setup, though there are some rocks at the water's edge. Once in the water, it is clean with waist-deep, sandy-bottomed conditions free of obstacles. During strong north winds, the water becomes slightly choppy with small waves, while it remains flat with northeast or east-northeast winds. However, east and southeast winds can be gusty and lighter, making it better to head 1.5 km ahead to La Punta for more consistent conditions.
For foiling, the water is generally too shallow unless there is a north wind or a very high tide. In these cases, it's advisable to use a short mast (50cm) and walk out to deeper waters for a better experience.

After opening schools in Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Tulum, Xpu-Ha, and Cancún, we realized the importance of teaching in the perfect spot with the ideal conditions of shallow flat water, suitable with any wind directions, a lot of space, and the only place with this characteristic and where people learned to Kite safely and much more efficiently and quickly was at Isla Blanca. Since we are located only here…the absolute place for learning and easy and fast progression.
