Explore the essence of Southern Italy through the Mediterranean flavors of Puglia, where olive groves, Baroque cathedrals, and iconic trulli define the landscape. Begin your journey in the UNESCO town of Matera, renowned for its carved dwellings known as The Sassi, before venturing to another UNESCO gem, Alberobello, famous for its charming trulli houses with unique conical roofs.

From Matera, follow the path to Lecce, often called the pink city for its warm-hued stone architecture. Along the way, indulge in wow moments such as tasting olive oil from 600-year-old trees at the Frantolio working olive mill, cycling along Italy’s stunning coastal road to Baia di Enea, and embarking on a wine tour at the acclaimed Liveli winery in Salento.

Traveling from the Sassi to the Trulli, you'll discover the captivating regions of Puglia and Basilicata, nestled between the Adriatic and Ionian seas. This corner of Italy, with its exotic blend of Greek, Norman, and Arab influences, promises a rich tapestry of cultural and natural treasures.

As you journey through picturesque countryside and past the whitewashed city of Ostuni, you'll find yourself immersed in the laid-back Italian lifestyle of the Salento Peninsula. Here, olive orchards, limestone cliffs, crystal waters, and Baroque towns create a stunning backdrop for exploration.

And of course, no visit to Southern Italy would be complete without indulging in the region's renowned cuisine. From abundant seafood to fresh vegetables, homemade pasta, and artisanal bread, every meal is a celebration of local flavors and traditions.
