Breathe in the pure Pacific air on one of our decks or relax while reading one of our many books in the hot tub.

For a change of pace, explore the scenery by taking a walk or riding our mountain bikes, take a fishing trip or take one of our quad bikes for a spin. You can prove your steady hand by setting new records in our horseshoe throwing or by lassoing our wild, wooden cow. If you want to immerse yourself in the gold rush of the 1850s, try your luck panning for gold in the creek. You never know what the spring water will wash up from the untouched mountains.

Passionate photographers will also get their money's worth. The gorgeous landscape, the many animals around the ranch, passing wild animals, from curious squirrels to impressive moose or grizzly bears, offer you countless, varied motifs. As with our other packages, a day trip to Nemaiah Valley is planned to view wild horses. This is followed by a hike at Chilko Lake, where you can enjoy the wonderful view over the lake and surrounding mountains.

Back at the lodge, you can cozy up in front of the fireplace and tell your loved ones at home about your experiences via free Wi-Fi.

Cindy

Cindy

Since she first worked for the lodge as a wrangler in the summer of 2010 & 2011, back then for the founders Joe & Sabine, it was her dream to live here permanently.

In the spring of 2019, the time had come. Originally from Lausitz, she left Germany with a laughing and a crying eye. Unfortunately, because of her age, she could no longer take her 30-year-old horse Daisy with her.

Cindy has been riding since early childhood and grew up with horses. Starting with vaulting, she later competed in hunt riding with Daisy for many years. Her motto in life:

"At full gallop into the next adventure." And that is where she would like to take all our guests.
