Yoga retreats can be a great way to unwind and de-stress from the demands of daily life. They provide an opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and focus on self-care and personal growth. Most of our guests find that participating in a yoga retreat helps them to feel more relaxed and centered, and often improves their overall sense of well-being. Additionally, we provide a supportive and nurturing environment in which participants can learn more about themselves and develop new skills and habits that can help them live happier, healthier lives.

Yoga practices

We often practice Vinyasa Flow in the morning and Hatha, Restorative, and Yin Yoga in the evenings. Patricia has been teaching different types of body work for more than 30 years so she can often incorporate other exercises and adapt to the group and individual needs. During the week classes also focus on the chakras/energy centers.

Healing treatments

We have different healing treatments available. Massage is one of the most ancient forms of healing used by humans. It helps to relax the body and mind.
We offer different types of healing massage therapies and all of them have a holistic approach to the state of wellbeing. Human touch when done from a conscious space can be a powerful channel for deep healing.

Other activities

There is plenty of time for self-care and adventure. We have selected several high-quality activities with facilitators that are passionate about what they do and are motivated to share their knowledge and experience with you. All these practices are designed to align our body and mind to their natural state of balance and equilibrium, creating a fertile environment within our body, a calm and clear mind to welcome creative ideas, curiosity, and passion to explore the journey of life.

About The Host

Patricia was born in Lisbon and studied Sports and Physical Education at University (5 years).

She is passionate about Dance, body consciousness, Meditation, and the Holistic approach to Life.

Since 1992, she’s been teaching and inspiring people through different types of bodywork: body and mind, dance, conscious movement, postural/restorative, somatic awareness, fascia release, and personal training/therapy.

She is a certified Yoga (E-RYT 200 from Yoga Alliance), Fitness (CEF 3 years; AFAA), and Pilates (Pilates Institute) Instructor, sponsored by Reebok and other fitness brands. Her classes combine sequences and exercises specially designed in a flowing and creative way to suit all levels and create a balanced and healing practice that nurtures body, mind, and soul.

She also worked as a ZenShiatsu Therapist since 2005 (Internacional School of Shiatsu – Kiental – 3 years), balancing people’s energy and aligning their physical, mental, and emotional bodies.

In 2009 she met her Spiritual Master and started to go deeper in Meditation, being committed to practicing mindfulness and spirituality in her daily life, after living four and a half years in a Meditation school (monastic life).

Since 2003, Surfing has also been part of her life and a way to connect with Mother Nature.

Zarqa has long been fascinated by the knowledge of Life that many different native people and ancient mystical traditions have. The inner journey of self-development took him to many different places, working with shamanic traditions, and practicing and studying with Spiritual Master Tony Samara since 2001.

He is trained and certified in a special style of Ayurvedic Massage and has been practicing since the year 2004.

For six years he lived in the Garden of Light, a school of meditation. Going deeper on this mystical path. Learning that meditation is the key to freedom and freedom is the key to happiness and joy.

Bringing meditation and massage together creates a great synergy.

Growing up by the Ocean developed a deep connection to this element and surfing is a great passion.
