The Dalmatian Coast – 1000 islands – is one of the true wonders of Mediterranean, with the clearest waters in the Adriatic Sea, magnificent historic and cultural interest. Experiencing this special region by foot is by far the most rewarding way to travel. Exploring small fishing villages and the stunning Dalmatian Coast landscapes. The magical towns of Dubrovnik and Split. Enjoying the colourful and varied Dalmatian food divided into fishermen’s and farmer’s cuisine.

From your arrival in Split until the end point in Dubrovnik, your journey will take you to the beautiful islands of Brač, Hvar, Mljet and Korčula, traveling by ferries, boat and catamarans. You will enjoy your running between seaside villages, tiny medieval walled towns and lovely quiet pebbled bays, set against a backdrop of pine forests and mountains. The trip concludes in the well known town of Dubrovnik, where you will run and admire the architecture of the old stone town center.

Špela

Špela is an enthusiastic trail runner, a nature lover, and a fan of cycling and ski touring. By profession, she is a Kinesiologist – Master of Science, primarily interested in exercise physiology and endurance sports. She applies her expertise to trail running, assisting runners with preparation and providing advice on nutrition, recovery, injuries…

Špela is also a trainee for the UIMLA mountain leader. She prepares and manages trail running programs and holidays. She is also involved in creating the Triglav Trail Run race, which is considered one of the most beautiful trail running experiences in the region. Špela will provide you with advice on running, information about the destination, and help you prepare for your trail running holidays. She will be there for tips on difficulty, the specifics of the trail, equipment advice, and any other information to make your trail running vacation a wonderful experience.
