If you already in Bali we have several pick-up and drop-off options. If you are in Kuta or Seminyak our driver will pick you up or drop you off for free.

Room options:

Room Agung - This room has 2 bunk beds and sleeps 4 persons. It is big, super comfortable and sheets and linen are comfortable and clean. The bathroom is open to the outside so you fell you are in the tropics and there is always a breeze passing through. Individual safety storage area is available and also a mini fridge inside the room for personal usage. Decoration with surf photography to inspire future adventures.

Room Kelimutu - The Kelimutu room is one of our shared rooms. It sleeps 3 persons in one bunk bed and one single bed. Equipped with TV, DVD and a mini fridge, this room is perfect to share with someone but still feel comfortable. This room is located on the first level of our new building.

It has the most stunning views and its beautiful gardens. There is a comfy ensuite toilet and shower with comfortable and clean towels. Our bedding and linen are changed regularly keeping high standards of hospitality for a budget price. Individual safety storage area is also available.

Room Batur - This room has a queen bed that sleeps 2 persons. Equipped with TV, DVD and a mini fridge, this room is perfect to share with someone but still keeping some privacy. There is a comfy ensuite toilet and shower with comfortable and clean towels. The room faces our beautiful garden with a glimpse to the pool. Our bedding and linen are changed regularly keeping high standards of hospitality for a budget price. Individual safety storage area is also available.

Room Ijen - In a new beautiful building, this room has its entrance facing the Yoga area. It has big windows facing a stunning private garden with multiple variety of exotic plants. The room has a king bed (or two single) and sleeps maximum 2 persons. Nicely decorated, with a traditional touch and European comfort standards, makes you feel in Bali while enjoying first class accommodation. The bathroom has shower and private toilet. A safety box and mini fridge are available as well as an AC and TV/DVD.

Room Tambora - This room is located on the first level of our newest building. Room Tambora has big windows facing tree tops creating an amazing relaxing feeling when inside the room. You can also enjoy the incredible view over the river area in its big veranda with comfortable seating. The room has a king bed (or two single) and sleeps maximum 2 persons. The room is nicely decorated, with a traditional touch and high comfort standards. The bathroom has shower and private toilet. A safety box and mini fridge are available as well as an AC and TV/DVD.

Room Bromo - In a beautiful traditional Balinese building, this room has at its entrance a lovely balcony facing the bar and pool. The room has a queen bed and a single bed, sleeps 3 persons. Nicely decorated, with a traditional touch and european comfort standards, makes you feel you are in Bali while enjoying first class accommodation. The bathroom is huge with a bathtub, shower and private toilet. A safety box and mini fridge are available as well as a AC and TV/DVD.

Room Merapi - In a beautiful traditional Balinese building, this room has at its entrance a lovely balcony facing the bar and pool. The room consists on queen bed and a single bed, sleeps 3 persons. Nicely decorated, with a traditional touch and European comfort standards, makes you feel you are in Bali while enjoying first class accommodation. The open bathroom concept makes you feel in the tropics while you have a shower looking at the outside tropical greens. A safety box and mini fridge are available as well as a AC and TV/DVD.

Semeru Bungalow- Nice private bungalow with one King bed and two Single beds. Sleeps maximum 4 guests. Perfect for families or bigger groups of friends that look for some extra comfort and privacy. The bungalow has its own private balcony with seats and a Caribbean hammock overlooking the garden and pool. The decoration is impeccable and the toilet has a bathtub and shower. Clean towels, linen and comfortable beds are waiting for great nights of rest after all the day activities. The room has AC, mini fridge, safety box and TV/DVD.

Rinjani Bungalow - This is our most special room. A stunning wooden private bungalow, decorated in detail with Balinese inspired and modern décor. The outdoor balcony has a secluded feel and direct views to the gardens and swimming pool. There you will find enough comfortable areas to relax and read a book or simply enjoy the sounds of nature. Rinjani has a king bed and a single bed and sleeps maximum 3 persons. All complete with an ensuite bathroom, luxurious bedding, mini fridge, AC, TV/DVD and a safety deposit box.

Room Krakatoa - This is great room in our newest building. Spacious and with a stunning view over one of Balinese temples. You can relax hearing the river and the sound of the tall trees in the exterior wooden private balcony. Decorated in detail with Balinese feeling and Surf inspiring pictures.

Krakatoa has a king bed (or two single) and an extra single bed. Sleeps maximum 3 persons. All complete with an ensuite bathroom, luxurious bedding, mini fridge, AC, TV/DVD and a safety deposit box.

"Its my first time as a solo traveler and I only read good things about the camp in the internet. For my first solo trip a wanted to get in touch with people, learn how to surf and do Yoga. Everything was completely fulfilled. Staff was amazing, friendly and welcoming, just felt like coming home. Community is nice and all the people I met there were open and friendly. Surf lessons and instructors are very good (I am a beginner). As well Yoga was great. Facility is quite and rooms are clean and sweet (stayed in a private room). Barbecue on Saturday was rich and afterwards they go out all together for party. Really enjoyed my stay here and will come back as it feels like a good Community and little Family. "I had a great experience! I stayed for 6 days/5 nights. The retreat village was beautiful and I loved my room (Merapi room). The location was super close to Canggu and everything you need. They have motorbikes on property you can use (free of charge). The staff was absolutely incredible and took great care of everyone there. You can order food on property and it was very reasonably priced. We had daily surf lessons and had a lot of fun. The surf instructors were great."

Booking cancellation

Activ Retreats requires written notice for any booking cancellation by its clients. Refunds are done according the below:

Cancellation over 4 weeks before the booking arrival date – loss of the deposit (50% of the total cost). There is the possibility of rescheduling this holiday, so the deposit is not completely lost. This is ONLY applicable for cancellations made over 4 weeks of the booking arrival date. The rescheduling has to be made for a period within 6 months of the canceled booking.

Cancellation 2 – 4 weeks before the booking arrival date – loss of 75% of holiday cost.

Cancellation under 2 weeks before the booking arrival date – loss of 100% of holiday cost.

Booking cancellation by Activ Retreats

Activ Retreats has the power to cancel any booking at any time due to reasons of ‘force majeure’ which include war, political unrest, strikes, acts of God, epidemics, natural and technical disaster, closure of ports and aircraft or if the clients default in the payment of the balance of the holiday price. In circumstances where Activ Retreats is unable to provide the booked holiday package, they will return all the money already paid, or offer you an alternative holiday with similar standard.

It is unlikely that Activ Retreats will make any changes to your holiday, but occasionally small changes may be made, which we reserve the right to do at any time. Most of these changes are minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date.

Activ Retreats holidays start and finish the dates stated on your invoice or booking confirmation. We are not responsible for your travel to or from this point or for any expenses, including travel accommodation, subsistence and loss of earnings, caused by delayed return to your departure point.

Airport transfers: It may sometimes be necessary to combine, on certain transfers, customers arriving or departing on more than one flight, which may require additional waiting time at the airport or at your previous accommodation. Sometimes our airport transfers are contracted to a local agency. The departure times from Activ Retreats is 3 hours prior to your flight departure.

Holiday contract

All booking contracts are with Activ Retreats. Our guests, by paying the booking deposit are automatically accepting the full Terms & Conditions. The person making the booking must read these Terms & Conditions. In the case of a group booking the group leader or booking person must have the authority to sign on behalf of everyone in the group. 

The lead name will be responsible for the full cost of the holiday including insurance premiums, cancellations and amendment charges. No booking contract exists between Activ Retreats and the client until the booking payment has been received. Once the booking is received there is a cancellation policy that will apply with immediate effect. We reserve the right to refuse to accept bookings in our absolute discretion without stating the reason for doing so. Please inform us immediately if there are any discrepancies in the costs or details of your booking.

Prices

All the packages prices are in USD per person per week, unless otherwise stated. Upon making your booking the price of your holiday will not be subject to change, however we reserve the right to increase or decrease prices due to variations in service charges, offers, insurance/security levels or exchange rates. Once a booking has been made discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. A deposit of 50% required at the time of booking. Once the confirmation has been dispatched, the deposit is non refundable. The final balance is due 4 weeks before the ARRIVAL date. If the final payment has not been received by this date we reserve the right to treat the booking as a cancellation. The final balance will still be due and payment obligation still exists according to our cancellation policy. In case the booking is made within 4 weeks of the arrival date the full amount (100%) is required for the booking confirmation.

Re-sales

Activ Retreats will not accept bookings that are meant for re-selling with lower, equal or larger profits then what we offer on our website. In the case any of these bookings occurs without giving proper notice and with our proper approval, we are able to cancel the booking at anytime and claim full compensation of the booking and its total value. Re-sales are restricted to our own appointed agencies.

Surf guiding

We have qualified instructors. They will take you to surf spots and suggest where to surf but are not in any way responsible for clients safety or for injury or death whilst surfing.

Activities

The Yoga, Aerial Yoga and Martial Arts coaches are qualified instructors. They will make sure you have your training under a safe environment and avoiding injury. They are not responsible for any kind of injury, loss or death during practice. We recommend all guest to have a good travel and health insurance.

Holiday payment

Activ Retreats will send the booking payment information and keep the booking on hold for 24 hours. After this 24 hours Activ Retreats, in the case there is no payment made by the client, will consider the booking request as null and is not responsible for any payment received after this time. In the case of an impossibility to accept the paid booking after the 24 hours, a refund of the total amount will be sent to the client that lost the booking, excluding bank fees or other transaction fees. This will be considered after trying to find a reasonable and fair solution for the client if still considering staying in Activ Retreats. Bookings made through accredited agents will follow Activ Retreats Terms & Conditions followed by our agents Terms & Conditions whatever they are. Activ Retreats is not responsible if the booked holidays do not correspond to what is offered in the agents brochure or online information. Activ Retreats accepts the responsibility of ensuring that the holiday you book matches the online description in Activ Retreats website. If any service is not provided as promised, we will consider to pay the appropriate compensation if it affected the enjoyment of the package. If you wish to make a complaint or claim whilst on holiday you must report it to the relevant supplier of the problem in question and to Activ Retreats representatives, thereby giving them the opportunity to solve the problem. We cannot accept any liability whatsoever if we are not informed immediately, of any problem during your stay. Complaints not resolved completely in resort should be made in writing within 28 days of the end of the holiday. We will not accept liability for claims received after this period.

Holiday termination during stay

While staying with Activ Retreats the clients are expected to behave in an orderly and acceptable manner. They are expected to accept responsibility for the conduct of themselves and their party. Should their behavior threaten the condition of the accommodations, vehicles or seriously impair the enjoyment of other guests, Activ Retreats reserves the right to refuse to further accommodate the guilty guest/party and contractual obligations will be terminated. The guilty party will be liable for the cost of any damage caused.

Insurance

Everyone booking a holiday with Activ Retreats must have full travel insurance. Activ Retreats accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, damage or injury to persons or property during their stay.

Excursions

Our paid excursion are non-refundable. Excursion are only subject for refund if Activ Retreats is not able to organize the excursion due to any unexpected circumstances or when the required minimum amount of participants is not reached. The decision to cancel any excursion can only be made by Activ Retreats.

Nyepi day

During the Indonesian public holiday Nyepi (one day in February or March) no one is allowed to leave the accommodation grounds and no surf sessions will be held that day.
