We are both passionate surfers and believe surfing can be a very spiritual experience and a great way to exercise in Nature. The core of this program is the yoga and meditation practice. Saltwater has a very cleansing quality and this is a fun way to spend 2 hours daily in the Ocean.

All programs happen at the same time and it is common to have participants who sign up for the yoga and meditation join the surf classes too. We are lucky to have one of the best surf schools in the area as our neighbors! They have lots of experience and take good care and attention with their students.

How can surf, yoga, and meditation retreat transform your life?

Yoga, meditation, and surfing can make a perfect combination for your healthy holiday in Portugal. Yoga helps to improve flexibility, balance, and strength, as well as reducing stress and tension. Meditation can calm the mind, improve focus, and increase mindfulness.

Surfing provides an opportunity for exercise in nature, which can reduce stress and improve mood, as well as providing an adrenaline rush and a sense of accomplishment. Combining these practices can lead to a holistic and well-rounded approach to personal growth, helping to improve physical and mental health, reduce stress and anxiety, and increase feelings of happiness and peace.

In 2009 she met her Spiritual Master and started to go deeper in Meditation, being committed to practicing mindfulness and spirituality in her daily life, after living four and a half years in a Meditation school (monastic life).

Since 2003, Surfing has also been part of her life and a way to connect with Mother Nature.

Zarqa has long been fascinated by the knowledge of Life that many different native people and ancient mystical traditions have. The inner journey of self-development took him to many different places, working with shamanic traditions, and practicing and studying with Spiritual Master Tony Samara since 2001.

He is trained and certified in a special style of Ayurvedic Massage and has been practicing since the year 2004.

For six years he lived in the Garden of Light, a school of meditation. Going deeper on this mystical path. Learning that meditation is the key to freedom and freedom is the key to happiness and joy.

Bringing meditation and massage together creates a great synergy.

Growing up by the Ocean developed a deep connection to this element and surfing is a great passion.
