Why Thailand?
The fitness retreat is located beachside in Jimbaran. We utilize a 5000 sq meter training area both indoors and outdoors. Full cross-fit set up, beach volleyball courts, Astroturf training area, and full indoor gym with free weights and resistance machines.
For warming down there is a huge lap pool. If you are looking to chill between training sessions, you can enjoy the largest south facing pool in Bali, with beach club.
With an impressive roster of trainers, we are continually improving our fitness routines. We have multiple classes to pick and choose from, so beginners and advanced athletes are welcome. A week might typically include Cross-fit style workouts, HIIT training (High-intensity interval training), Booty Core and Circuit Training.
The timetable can change depending on the roster of trainers, and weather conditions may also affect the activity, but the itinerary gives you an idea of some of the styles of training available. It is really comprehensive and everything here is to help you achieve your goals.
You can also expect to also enjoy a wide variety of activities and excursions included in the package with a dedicated group. This way you get to see the best of Bali, and have a fun-filled action-packed itinerary when you are not training. It’s a great way to meet other people and really get the most out of your holiday.
From surf beaches and surf lessons, trips to temples, and a day out to Ubud. The Monkey Forest, rices paddies and waterfalls all make Bali an incredible experience you can't miss out on. And if you're feeling brave, the famous Bali Swing is an optional activity you can choose to sign on for.
Training
The training schedule takes place at our own on-site training area. Roll out of bed straight into it. You also have access to train there and use the equipment throughout the day.
Much of the training program is focused on HIIT or Crossfit Style. Due to the intensity of these sessions, it can be quite strenuous on your body, so we include a lot of rest time and more low-intensity activities to help your body recover and rebuild in between sessions.
Traveling alone
Most people who attend the camp, are independent travelers and arrive at the camp on their own. If you are concerned about traveling solo, don't be. There is such a social atmosphere at the camp, and it is a really supportive environment where everyone gets to know each other very quickly.
Serious physical exercise in a group can be quite a bonding experience we assure you! So really it does not take long for people to get to know one another.
Help and guidance
Some people are new to training, and fitness in general. If you are feeling out of your depth or if you want to discuss your fitness goals and get advice on the best training plan for you our resort based trainers is there for you.
While we endeavor to sit down with guests to run them through the training options individually, the onus is on you to speak up and talk to our trainers about what you need. The team is here to help, but we can only help if you ask.
We have been providing bootcamps since 2008 for our clients from all over the world proudly becoming market leaders in the fitness bootcamp industry. While many boot camp operators exist, no other company operates their own resorts in multiple locations with rolling start dates and guaranteed groups 365 days a year. With dedicated resorts, over 10,000 sq meters of training facilities, and staff in multiple locations in Mallorca, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Bali.
We are dedicated to providing genuinely positive life-changing experiences with health and fitness at the forefront of what we do. Our team has expertise in multiple areas of fitness and is completely passionate about bringing out the best in our clients.
The camp is located near the beach in Jimbaran.
Return airport transfer can be arranged with the Villa management at reception. The cost will be around $12.
We recommend you join us for four weeks at the Bali fitness boot camp to get the most out of your time. Many people are constrained by how much time they have off work, so most people go for two weeks. You can get a 30 day Visa for Bali fairly easily, if you wish to stay up to 8 weeks you will need to extend your Visa.
The main benefit you will take home is the knowledge of how to maintain and improve your fitness back home along with a solid foundation or fitness. Of course, you also have had a fantastic holiday in Bali as well, and it is not that often you can say you’ve come back from holiday feeling better than when you left!
Short-term guests will receive an amazing kick start to their health and fitness routine. Many who travel with us use this as a kick-start to their travels as well, after all, if you are hitting the beaches in Bali, you want to look and feel good.
If you are looking to go long-term and see drastic improvements, we recommend splitting your time between here and our Sri Lanka, Spain or Thailand fitness Bootcamp for up to 6 months of training!
The four share accommodation is mixed sex.
We do our best to keep the twin rooms single sex. If you're travelling with a friend or partner make sure to mention their names in the "travelling with" section of the booking form.
This depends on your own spending choices, but as most meals are covered you only need to cover your external excursions and activities. Bali is very good value, but you will want to budget spending money to go on a couple of tours, and transportation to take you to other areas of the island. We would recommend between $108 - $165 per week.
You can bring supplements with you, but please make sure these are clearly labelled.
People join our Fitness Holiday Bootcamps with lots of different goals. Some people want to bulk up, some lose weight and other to improve fitness. Individual fitness goals require different calorific and protein intakes on a daily basis. The meal plan included is not an all-you-can-eat. This means you may need to supplement your protein intake while you train if you feel the desired calorific or protein content is not enough. To facilitate this you can buy protein shakes, and we can advise you where to purchase extra fresh food locally.
Please note the meal plan runs from Monday to Friday, and you will need to budget for your own meals at weekends.
Scooters are widely available for hire however we do not recommend people hire them. Traffic conditions are crazy in Bali, and it is not uncommon for people to have a very serious accident on a scooter. We will not take any responsibility for any accidents or damage that occurs from clients renting scooters.
Taxis are cheap and easy to arrange. All of the resorts are within walking distance of the training area.
Yes and credited cards are widely accepted too.
Plenty. Beaches, beach clubs, amazing viewpoints and look-outs. There is a range of tours you can do, like visiting Monkey temples, rice paddies and Hindu temples.
Yes! 90% of our clients join the boot camp on their own. In fact far from being a problem, we would encourage people to do so. It's a very social environment at the camp and you will make friends very quickly.
Yes. Towels are not included but you can get a fresh one for 10,000 IDR (approximately 65 USD cents).
Probably 60% female, 40% male. Everyone will have different goals and motivations for booking the camp too. With girls, it's usually about toning up, weight loss and body confidence. Boys tend to focus more on strength and conditioning training. Not exclusively, there are people who join for all reasons. The important thing to consider is everyone is catered for, and people's goals might change throughout your stay.
Yes, not a problem at all.
If you have any dietary requirements do let us know at the time of booking.
High season is the dry season. Between April and September Bali is typically busier than usual. While temperatures are pretty constant all year round, it's rainfall that can make the difference between the months.
In rainy season, usually between October through to March, you can expect downpours mainly at night. It doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be constantly raining all the time. You can have some heavy rains and then it's sunny. It is also cooler to train during the rainy season.
The boot camp runs all year, come rain or shine.
Due to the nature of the Bali bootcamp, we often get asked "What kind of results will I see?" This is an impossible question to answer because everyone is different. People have different metabolisms, different work rates and how long you stay for. We are confident you will definitely see an improvement, even if you come for a short time, you will be set on the right path and given a good foundation to continue training back home. You will learn all the tools and techniques you need in order to continue to improve.
