29 Days, Multiple Departures
Kyveli and Giorgos
This is the vision and creation of Kyveli and Giorgos, two dance artists and educators from Greece who envisioned a wooded piece of land as a meeting place for moving and sensing experiences. The concept arose from a deep need to reconnect with nature and to meet a community of similar interests and quests. The idea was conceived in October 2021 when there was nothing but trees on the land and by the summer of 2022, a camp was ready, and the first season became a reality!
The venue is accessible by car up to a certain point; however, it requires traveling on a dirt road. From there, there is an uphill path of about 100 meters.
Yes, there is power available on site, but only during specific times of the day for charging your phones/laptop.
Yes, Wi-Fi is available on site during specific hours of the day. However, we generally recommend our guests to enjoy some “unplugged” days.
There is no dedicated security on site. Each participant is responsible for their personal items during their stay at the venue, and the company bears no responsibility for any loss. However, incidents of theft have been rare, and the village has a zero crime rate.
All adults are very welcome to our programs, regardless of age! Our activities are for all levels. Usually the average of our participants is 28-58 years old.
In case you have a special diet and you need to have with you your personal snacks or anything you need, you are very welcome to bring them with you. You can keep them in a safe space in the dining area into sealable containers, just keep in mind there is no fridge!
No, however Bell Tents have zipped windows and doors with flyscreens to allow airflow.
We can assist you by arranging a taxi upon request, provided it is made at least 48 hours in advance. Additionally, we can help you connect with other individuals arriving around the same time to potentially share a taxi ride. The approximate taxi fare from the airport to Neochori village is about 70 euros, and the journey typically takes around 1 hour and a half.
The venue’s maximum capacity is 26 people.
Bed linen, towels and blankets are provided only for guests staying in Bell Tents.
Personal towel. The areas where the lessons will be held are shaded and the lessons will be held early in the morning and in the evening. Nevertheless, it’s August and we’re in Greece, so it will be quite hot! We will sweat and need our towels.
Your water bottle – if it is one that keeps beverages cold even better!
Comfortable clothes for classes. The temperature is generally high, and at night it doesn’t drop below 22 degrees so you don’t need to carry heavy clothes.
Sports shoes or shoes that are comfortable for walking and movement practices. Some of the workshops may require shoes, or take place outside the studio, so it’s a good idea to have a pair with you. Don’t forget, we are in nature and the earth is rocky!
Sun hat
Sunscreen
Swimsuit
Insect/mosquito repellent. The place has mosquitoes mostly in the early morning and in the evening, so it’s a good idea to bring an insect/mosquito repellent. It can also be helpful to have some long pants.
Biodegradable shampoo and shower gel. The water from the showers is absorbed by the earth, that’s why we only use biodegradable shampoos and shower gels. We recommend that you bring your own, however in case this is difficult to transport (e.g. due to the flight) we will also have some available for purchase.
Toothpaste/toothbrush, face/body towel for personal use, and everything related to your personal hygiene. Please keep in mind that there is no mini market etc. in the village.
Power bank. Electricity is available only for two hours per day. From our experience, this is sufficient for full charging of mobile phones, but in any case, if you want to be sure that you won’t run out of battery, you can bring a power bank with you.
Everything that will make your stay in the tent as comfortable as possible. Bed linen, face/body towels and light fleece blankets are provided only for guests in Bell Tents.
Flashlight/Head or hand torch. The campsite is dimly lit at night with solar rechargeable lights. Plus, there is light in the wc/shower area. However, it is necessary to have your personal torch or flashlight.
There is a first aid kit on site, however if you receive any special treatment, or have a specific allergy, it is good to have it with you.
