Women Only

Algonquin Park (just over 3 hours North of Toronto) is a true representation of Canadian lands: dense maple forests line the trails, over 2,400 lakes and 1,200 kilometers of streams and rivers. This picturesque park in Canada is a place made to explore.

On this trip, get away from the noise of day to day life (we’re silencing all notifications) and embrace the art of being still in nature. Escape the concrete jungle to frolic in the forest.

This trip is for beginners who want to learn how to properly use essential gear and paddling techniques, ensuring you have the confidence to travel through the park's pristine lakes and rivers in the hands of an experienced guide.

Learn to size your paddle, how to pack your bag, how to travel by canoe (the basics of paddling, portaging, and water safety), open water navigation - reading maps, landscapes, and weather, campsite basics - how to set up the site, pitch tents, tarps, sleep systems and everything in between, campfire cooking - how to handle an open flame, cooking and cleaning in the backcountry, and how to adapt and improvise when various situations arise in the wild.

Group departures are for women and women-identifying folks.

About The Host

We trust that energy is inspired when we break out of our day-to-day and allow ourselves to nurture our wild; when we get outside, and move to sound, taste new flavors, and immerse in cultures different than our own.
