June 24 to July 2, 2025
Join Chris and myself for this incredible adventure. Chris will be showing us what makes his home country so special as we take a short hike to Murchison Falls and drive through 5 National Parks for incredible wildlife sightings.
We will set out on foot to trek Gorilla and Chimpanzee, which will for sure be one of the most memorable experiences of your life - it has been mine and that is why I now go 3 times a year. This is truly a unique experience as only a few people get to spend time with these beauties. There are 18 gorilla families that have been habituated for tourism purposes, and 17 of those are tracked in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where we will be trekking these gentle giants.
Your Yoga Experience
Yoga sessions depends on the day’s activities and travel time. Since most mornings start quite early due to all the amazing activities on offer and also the best time to view wildlife, most yoga sessions will be in the afternoon. Sessions are a combination of pranayama, yin, slow flows, dynamic vinyasa flows, hatha and guided meditations - The sounds of the surrounding forests promises a calming and meditative state that will benefit beginners to experienced students
We organize specialized yoga holidays that combine wildlife encounters, conservation, vibrant cultural experiences, nature hikes, adventurous days and mindful yoga flows out in nature, a truly authentic experience. Choose one of our scheduled yoga holidays or contact us to customize a private trip according to your personal requirements. These yoga holidays are about YOU, connecting with yourself on a deeper level and having an adventure of a life time.
Our yoga holidays are taught by local and international yoga teachers and we welcome all levels from beginners to advanced, adjusting sessions according to your experience. Groups are small which allows personal attention, tailoring to your personal needs.
Each yoga holiday is different, but you can expect 1 or 2 yoga sessions per day, depending on the days activities. All scheduled activities are early mornings, but then the afternoon yoga sessions will be longer. After lunch you have free time for relaxation or optional activities/treatments.

There is also no set route to visit the gorillas. They move around of their own free will, so the amount of time it will take to visit them can vary from under an hour to almost a full day depending on where they are and how long it takes the trackers to locate them.
Due to trekking through the dense forests in search of Chimpanzee and Gorilla, and trekking time taking anything from 2-8 hours, a fairly good level of fitness is required. Walking sticks can be hired at the park headquarters if needed.
December to February and between June and August. These times are the best for trekking to see mountain gorillas and chimpanzees.
