Oct 15 to Oct 25, 2025
Escape to the timeless landscapes of Norway’s Arctic Circle and gather your harvest (Norsk ‘innhøsting’) of sensory memories to savour for a lifetime. Our journey begins in the culinary and Viking culture capital, Trondheim, and its surrounding ‘Golden Road’, a route of sublime artisanal producers in rolling countryside. We’ll stay in a serene hotel overlooking the Trondheimfjord that exemplifies modern Nordic design and set out on foraging expeditions with a local guide. From there we head to Lofoten, the iconic Norwegian archipelago with epic mountains plunging into vivid sea. Here, we’ll stay in a reimagined historic fishing village, embark on sea kayaking adventures, warm up in a private sauna on the pier, and follow our local expert on Northern Lights viewing to capture that bucket list moment! Each day we’ll be grounded and uplifted in private yoga sessions, and nourished by the freshest regional harvest cuisine.
Norway's Arctic Circle
From Trondheim to Lofoten, with the final night in Oslo, this journey takes us into Norway’s Arctic Circle at a very special time of year. Autumn is harvest time, offering amazing culinary experiences, gorgeous scenery, energizing temperatures, and a chance to see the Northern lights! This journey also offers a perfect balance between the fertile countryside around Trondheim, and the stunning coastal fjord of Lofoten.
Golden Road harvest
Trondheim, and the surrounding Golden Road, is a surprising and unspoilt destination offering incredible produce, art, history and cultural encounters. We begin in Trondheim with a focus on Viking history and Norse culture, and then head out to a serene countryside retreat for 4 nights of wellness, and exploring the Golden Road - a true celebration of abundant produce and sustainability at harvest time.
Northern lights in Lofoten
We then fly North to Lofoten, which is the site of some of the most iconic Norwegian mountain-to-sea scenery. Lofoten is loved by nature addicts, marine enthusiasts, mountain explorers and those seeking artistic inspiration. Here, we spend four nights at a re-imagined Norwegian fishing village, with energizing activities like kayaking, walking, cheese-making and Nordic sauna-to-sea plunges.

Each day of this retreat we will be exploring a concept or idea associated with våryhet, a Norsk term loosely translated to ‘spring fever, or freshness’. Spring is a time of creativity, renewal and hope; it is a time for new beginnings and habits. In Norse mythology, this season is strongly associated with the goddess of fertility, Freya. There are many wonderful Norse tales about Freya and her chariot driven by two enormous cats, her endless golden hair and beauty. Nina will share insights into Norse mythology and Nordic culture over the retreat to add unique layers of meaning to our travel and yoga.
