Krav Maga is a Self Defense System designed for dealing with realistic violent attacks. It is used by the Israeli Military and Secret Service, using the strongest and most effective points of many styles of fighting, thus creating a unique and complete program. This is also a system that is continually evolving as does the threat of violence in the world we live in.
Krav Maga was created by Imi Lichtenfeld in the 1930s, this system evolved from a variety of styles such as Judo, Boxing, and Wrestling, and was taught to the local Jewish community in Bratislava to help protect them.
When the country of Israel was created in 1948, Imi was invited to become the head instructor of the Israeli defense force I.D.F. Krav Maga has now become the main training system for all of the Israeli security services and has now been adopted worldwide by other intelligence and security forces.
We are now delighted to be able to offer this type of training to everyday people, to give them the confidence and security that comes from learning an effective form of self-defense. Firstly students are taught about awareness and reading the situation before violence erupts. Hopefully through this type of training your intuition and self-awareness should help you avoid ending up in a bad situation. However, if this cannot be avoided we will teach you the reality of a violent attack and give you the tools necessary to give you a real fighting chance in a violent conflict.
Your training will start by teaching you the basics of position and balance, reading body language and trying to talk yourself out of a situation before it starts.
The Host have spent several years creating the very best fitness holiday on the market. A group training holiday designed to help you lose weight, tone up or improve your current fitness levels. This is a complete Fitness Holiday that will not only help you shed weight but also kick-start a new healthier lifestyle. It does not matter if you are out of shape or unfit. The program is designed in such a way that it is suitable for everyone.
Each day you will be provided with two healthy, calorie-controlled meals that are ideal for training. The meals are prepared by an expert chef and can be eaten when you choose. Healthy, fresh ingredients are also provided for you to make your own breakfast.
The only thing you have to do is book a flight and then get out of bed each morning.
Every course runs Monday to Friday, with the weekends as free time. You can choose to arrive on any day and start the following weekday.
Courses start every week of the year apart from around Christmas.

No! The idea of shouting down at someone to get them to perform better is a style we don’t encourage. We prefer the method of encouragement and motivation to one another on an equal basis. We will show you the techniques and the correct way to stretch/lift/squat etc. We will encourage you to do that “one more” repetition but it will always be in a friendly and fun tone.
Our fitness holidays are for all fitness levels. Whether you are over-weight looking to get slimmer, you’re trying to get more toned or you are already in good shape and want a fun, active holiday in which you can maintain your fitness level. However, we must point out that this is a very physical program, but we encourage you to go at your own pace. If you are unsure or have other questions, please email us.
