Classes will take frequent field trips to various fascinating locations and times of day around Bali such as rice fields, local markets, beaches, surf, and sunsets. Students will develop new photography skills in diversified locations and times of day.

The property is located in a secluded area of Canggu surrounded by beautiful rice fields and just 10 minutes north of Seminiak. Canggu is a vibrant place full of nice restaurants, cafes and trendy shops and bars to hangout just 5 minutes from the property.
There is a healthy and sporty vibe in town but also a growing cool & trendy party scene. Pererenan is also full of new restaurants, cafes and bars that are worth a visit and with a very friendly vibe. The famous and favorite Bali sunset temple Tanah Lot is just 20 minutes away West of the retreat place.

To drive legally you need an Indonesian or International Driving License. You can get international driving license in your country, however if you are not entitled to drive scooter in your country then you are not be able to drive one in Bali.
Remember insurance companies only cover for motorbike and car accidents in case you have your Indonesian or international license.
Yes you can. We offer insurance with just $28 USD a week that covers any damage or loss to our equipment (surf boards & leashes) while surfing.
The national language is Bahasa Indonesia, but every island has its own language/dialect as well. In Bali, they speak Balinese and Indonesian. The majority of Indonesians speak English in Bali tourist areas.
There are no specific vaccine requirements for entry into Bali, however, there are a number of factors to consider when deciding whether or not to take precautions and get vaccinated against diseases prevalent in Bali and surrounding South East Asian countries including Indonesia. Much will depend on your individual situation, which you should discuss one-on-one with the doctor.
Yes, once you provide your arrival details our driver will pick you up at the information centre of the airport in Denpasar. He will have a sign with your name on it. Once we have confirmed your airport pick-up, please do not organize your own transport. Please note there is free WiFi at the airport.
Another option if you don’t want to use your own phone is you buy a local sim card at the airport or somewhere else. For approximately 10 euro you will get a sim card with credit and data that will last for a month. Please note that the airport pick-up service is only valid for the check-in day (unless for after midnight pick-ups) and the drop-off service is only valid for the check-out day.
Dengue fever is one of the most common mosquito-borne diseases in Indonesia. These mosquitoes commonly breed in warm, humid weather. Unlike common mosquitoes, dengue-causing mosquitoes bite during the day. Dengue infection along with other acute viral illnesses have similar symptoms: fever, bone and joint pain, and possible skin rash. There is no vaccination for dengue fever and there is no cure either. Dengue fever can be prevented with some precautions such as mosquito repellent or the use of long sleeves and long pants.
If you are already in Bali we have several pick-up and drop-off options. If you are in Kuta or Seminyak our driver will pick you up or drop you off for free. If you want to be picked up or dropped off in Ubud, Sanur, and Uluwatu areas the price is $17 USD per way. If you are in a different part of Bali please ask our staff for a rate or you will have to organize your own transportation.
Travel insurance is mandatory for your personal safety and proof of travel insurance is required for any guest staying. A decent travel insurance package will provide coverage for the following: trip cancellation and interruption, baggage delay, baggage coverage, travel delay, emergency medical and dental, medical transport and evacuation, and travel accident insurance.
