Jan 3 to Jan 10, 2026
On this retreat we’ll practice daily yoga, meditation and deep relaxation; dance, chant, and laugh together; and share heart-opening conversations on the wisdom of yoga, all of which will return you home with insight and clarity, rested and revitalized. There will be opportunities for quiet reflection as well as connection.
The word “kripalu” means compassion. Consequently, Kripalu Yoga is a style of yoga accessible to everyone; encouraging you to find ease as well as energy, confidence as well as contentment. Receive the gifts of sea and sun, good company and delicious food. Above all, be nourished by healing self-care practices, fresh ocean air, and by the sound of the surf, which will lull you to sleep each night.
Wake up with the sunrise for a day of yoga and adventure, or sleep in and laze the day away in a beach hammock with the nourishing sun and the sound of the surf as your companions. All are welcome. Jurian’s retreat is appropriate for all levels of yoga experience.
Mar de Jade’s beautiful surroundings and serene atmosphere make for a magnificent travel experience, allowing you to enjoy direct contact with nature. You’ll be situated at the foothills of a tropical jungle, nestled between the mountains and the warm shores of the Pacific Ocean. Wake up each morning to bird sounds and feel your biorhythms readjusting to the swish of gently lapping ocean waves.

Through my own vulnerability, honesty and humor, I try to help us all find our way to greater joy.”
Hughes is founder of the Yoga of Voice; co-creator of the Yoga of Yes; a Let Your Yoga Dance® teacher trainer; voice coach; personal mentor; writer; speaker; and theatre performer known for her passionate, playful and engaging teaching style.
