4 Days, Multiple Departures
This 4 Day Minimalist Retreat is a private retreat and available year-round.
These retreats are ideal for those just wanting a few days of relaxation before continuing on their journey.
These are personal retreats, not group retreats. Be part of our lives for a few days and enjoy the full attention of your personal yoga teacher and host during your stay.
If you plan to come with some friends, email us!
In addition, you can add guided meditation, mantra chant, movement meditation, a volcano hike, SPA treatments, a coffee roastery tour with tasting session, or private aerial classes.
Your instructor will be happy to help you with bookings and questions to ensure your stay will be magical and tailored to your unique needs.
The retreat is designed to help you turn in and relax body, mind, and spirit while allowing you time to explore in the ample free time provided.
A retreat should be what you want it to be, whether that means focusing on your practice and reading and meditating in the afternoons, or whether you want to explore as much as you can in the time you have here.
The retreat starts in the afternoon of the arrival day (arrival between 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM; ideally, please advise in advance if arriving early).
There will be a welcome and orientation before your first yoga session at 5:00 PM.
If you are traveling by yourself or with your friend or partner, you will be hosted in the private, beautiful accommodation. Otherwise, accommodation is available in the nearby venue. In Campo, we have 5 beautiful little cabañas with individual ensuite bathrooms, ideal for small groups.
The accommodation offers a full home away from home with a twin-bedded and a double-bedded room with views of the volcanoes or mountains, as well as a terrace and ample living room.
Each full day will include two asana (posture) based classes consisting of aerial yoga and Hatha yoga. We also offer an optional 8 am Hatha class, which is sometimes joined by some of my other students.
Both breakfast and dinner are included in your stay and are served at your retreat home. You may choose to spend some time in the gardens or on the terrace after breakfast to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. All food is vegetarian and homemade with love.
If you wish to book volcano hikes or SPA treatments while you are with us, we'll be happy to assist you.
You will finish your journey on the last day after a final session of yoga and a leisurely breakfast before getting ready to depart (check-out at 11:30 AM).
Dani
When I talk about yoga and aerial I am not talking about fitness but a way of life.
To me, as to many other yogis, yoga is a way of life, a living philosophy of mind, body and spirit. It is about learning to reconnect with one's body and listening to its needs and limitations, to be at home and fully whole in and of oneself.
Yoga is not about bending one's body into a pretzel and looking funky in a pose but about your overall well-being and we all work within our own bodies. We all have different strength and weaknesses and in yoga we try to find the balance. Practicing asana in particular is about doing right by one's own body and mind regardless of how "fit" one is otherwise.
I teach a variety of styles that are not just asana (posture) based. In order to connect body and soul, the subtle practices of mantra chant, pranayama (breathwork) and meditation all need to be part of the yoga practice.
However I equally teach them as separate entities for deeper immersion and understanding.
Be it yoga or aerial the best choice are well fitted leggings and sports top.
For aerial it is important that there are no zips or other metal that could cut into the fabric, also cover as much of your legs arms and torso as possible. Cotton type materials are preferable to lycra as lycra slips on the fabric.
Generally everyone can take our aerial and aerial yoga courses.
If you do have high blood pressure or motion sickness you should however not book these classes.
Equally if you are injured, specifically back, neck, wrists and knees you may want to consult us directly.
Due to COVID ideally you bring your own yoga mat, if you do not have one we have some you may borrow or buy.
Also bring your mask, a water bottle and a cloth for wiping your mat after class and a small towel.
You might also want to bring a sweater for cool down.
There are bathrooms on all sites however due to COVID we encourage people to come ready dressed for class.
Don't worry our classes are designed for all levels. However nothing new is ever easy so don't get discouraged if it's hard the first few times. Just make sure you work within your own ability.
Classes start on time so make sure to be at least 5 min early as latecomers will not be admitted. Warm up is a crucial part across all disciplines in order o keep you safe therefore ensure you are on time.
