Angkor Wat is a UNESCO World Heritage Sight one of the world’s most important ancient monuments and once in a lifetime trip (or two if you are me!) Built in the 1100s, this gorgeous and inspiring temple complex was originally built for the Hindu gods but is now thought of as a Buddhist temple. It is the national symbol of Cambodia and holds great pride in the Khmer culture. The grandeur and beauty of the structure are nestled in the midst of the jungle, making it a true once-in-a-lifetime sight to behold. The ancient kings of Cambodia competed to outdo each other in the size, scale, and symmetry of their building efforts, culminating in the world’s largest religious building, Angkor Wat. See it’s grandeur. :)
We have reserved all 8 rooms in the hip boutique hotel Maison 557 in Wat Bo, ranked the 3rd hippest neighborhood in the world by TIME OUT magazine. If that’s your thing. Each of the 8 rooms is unique, ranging from a simple, modern Standard Single, to Deluxe Doubles with outdoor showers, to a Suite with a private pool.
Most days we will have morning and evening yoga classes at our hotel. There will be one full 8 hour day where you have the opportunity for a guided tour of Angkor Wat . Other things you could do during your free afternoons: biking tours of the temples, a Cambodian cooking class with market visit, Budddhist Temple visit with water blessing and a sunrise temple tour.

I have been in the health and wellness biz since 2003. A long time!! I am a yoga teacher, health coach and nutritionist. My teaching background is primarily in the Jivamukti method where I serve as a senior teacher and mentor to new TT’s at the Jivamukti Centers in Munich. I am also a trained Ayurvedic Health Coach, Nutritional Therapist and soon to be Functional Nutritionist which enables me to read and interpret diagnostic labs not often run by conventional health practitioners to truly get at the root of the issues you struggle with - be that related to digestion, hormonal health or peri- or menopausal health, food sensitivities, thyroid health and autoimmunity. Taking the best from the East and the West.
