This running company was founded by running buddies Sam & Nikki.
Together, they’ve spent many years organizing trail running holidays for themselves and their pals, and have tackled some major challenges, including the Everest Marathon, Nepal, the Transrockies Run, USA, and several races from the famous Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc series.
Their experience and expertise are matched only by their enthusiasm and love for running. The girls’ passion for the outdoors brought them to Chamonix, in the French Alps, where they have teamed up with a handful of professional mountain enthusiast's who you may meet on some of our trips.
Our trail running holidays are thoughtfully designed to accommodate runners of all proficiency levels. Some of our trips cater to individuals who may have limited to no experience with mountain trails, while others are tailored for those well-versed in the challenges of high mountain running. We're here to ensure your trail running experience aligns perfectly with your capabilities and aspirations.
All of the hotels that we use are centrally located, clean and comfortable. On some itineraries where we visit remote areas, we stay in mountain huts up in the hills. Mountain huts are often ‘rustic’ but comfortable, with excellent local food on offer. We will be staying in shared rooms or dormitories. Hot showers are available, and usually a change of shoes, so you can leave your dirty trail shoes at the door. Rooms at the hotel are twin share, but single rooms can be booked for an additional supplement. Please note that in most mountain huts, single rooms are not available.
We recommend packing one set of running kit per day, with warm and cold options, plus a change of clothes for each evening. It can be cold in the evenings and even during the day, particularly when we are up high in the mountains. A lightweight running pack with the ability to carry water & other necessary items, plus a good quality waterproof jacket (gore-tex or equivalent) are also required. For each trip, we will send you a list of essential items and a suggested packing list. Please contact us if you have any concerns about what you need to bring on one of our trips.
We recommend trail-running shoes for all of our trips as they have more grip and are better suited to mountain terrain and variable conditions. Please contact us if you need any advice on purchasing kit for our trips.
We work closely with local hotels, restaurants and mountain refuges to ensure they understand and cater to specific diets. Just let us know at the time of booking and we will do all we can to make sure that your requirements are met. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
As per our terms & conditions, personal travel insurance is absolutely essential and we will require full details of your policy before you travel. Your policy must cover all risks associated with the trip, including the needs of air rescue from any location connected with the trip. Please contact us if you need help with the level of cover, type of activities and max altitude for any specific trip.
