A Few Spots Left

Embark on a truly extraordinary journey from the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia to the towering peaks of the Taurus Mountains, passing through the serene wetlands of Sultansazlı Lake, a renowned bird paradise. This unique itinerary offers a dynamic blend of diverse terrains, each more captivating than the last.

The adventure begins in Cappadocia, where you’ll explore the region's iconic fairy chimneys and rock-hewn dwellings. From there, you’ll ride toward Sultansazlı Lake, a vibrant wetland teeming with birdlife, offering a striking contrast to the arid beauty of Cappadocia. As you continue your journey, you’ll ascend into the high mountains of Karagöl, home to a stunning alpine lake sitting at 2,080 meters above sea level. The breathtaking views of this serene lake, surrounded by rugged peaks, provide the perfect backdrop for your journey.

Next, the trail takes you through the stunning Kazıklı Canyon, known for its dramatic cliffs and hidden beauty. Your journey culminates in the famed Emli Valley, a hiker's paradise, where you'll camp beneath towering peaks and experience the natural grandeur of the Taurus range up close.

Please note that this journey requires a good level of fitness, as some sections of the trail, particularly in the Black Mountains, may require you to dismount and navigate certain paths on foot. The terrain can be challenging, but the rewards are extraordinary—an immersive adventure through some of Turkey's most pristine and untouched landscapes. Riders must be prepared for a physically demanding experience that combines the thrill of horseback riding with the exploration of rugged, remote wilderness.
