All swims are guided, with at least two staff members swimming with the group, and/or one watching over us from a stand-up paddleboard, kayak, or boat support. We do not race. Our aim is to tour the best underwater sites and areas while having fun. You can choose to push yourself or take it easy. Stronger swimmers may be offered longer swims if possible. Tour locations change daily, depending on weather and the advice of our leaders.
Swims are tailored to meet the needs of swimmers with different abilities, and two small groups may be formed, each with its own set of goals. Ocean swimming is our passion, and it’s the primary focus of activity on your swimming adventure.
From secluded beaches to famous event swim courses, we visit all the top spots for swims. Join us for this unique adventure and experience the clarity of the waters, the coral reef system, and the abundant wildlife, including sea turtles, which will delight even seasoned swimmers.
Swimming Trainings
The clear waters of the Whitsundays allow us to capture videos of your stroke right in the open water during the first 2 days of your trip. On the second or third night, we have the opportunity for a video review and collaborative stroke analysis.
Throughout the week, we can also cover open water swimming techniques such as safety, sighting and navigation, buoy turns, pack swimming and drafting, and race strategy.
Itinerary & Activity Disclaimer
Please note that daily itineraries provided are examples of potential swims during your trip. Actual swim locations and distances will vary based on local weather and sea conditions. Guides and the local boat pilot will determine suitable swim locations daily and communicate the plan promptly.
Please understand that the schedule may be adjusted to optimize weather and ocean conditions. While we provide this itinerary, we may swap two days if conditions warrant, or substitute a swimming day with a walk, such as Whitsunday Peak or South Molle Island walk, based on group preference.
We acknowledge that some days groups may split, with some preferring alternative activities to swimming. We remain flexible and adaptable, with local experts available to assist with non-swimming activities.
During your group trip with us, our dedicated leaders take on multifaceted responsibilities to ensure a well-rounded and enriching experience. Serving as itinerary navigators, they assist with travel logistics during the trip. In the water, their guidance is tailored to the group's skill level, leading swims that range from exploring swim trails to discovering coastal landscapes. Safety remains a top priority, with leaders implementing vigilant measures and protocols for a secure and enjoyable swim. Beyond logistics and safety, our leaders are instrumental in building a sense of community and fostering connections among participants and locals that extend beyond the trip. In essence, our leaders play a crucial role in setting the tone for each day's adventure, transforming your swim journey into a comprehensive and unforgettable swim trip experience.
